Dr. Diana Scavuzzo
Optometrist
Dr. Scavuzzo was born and raised in the mountains of Blairsville, GA. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of North Georgia, graduating with honors. She received her Master of Science degree in Cellular Biology from the University of Georgia, where she researched genetic diseases of the eye. She attended the Kentucky College of Optometry in Pikeville, KY where she received her Doctor of Optometry degree.
Dr. Scavuzzo completed a residency in ocular disease at Omni Eye Services of Atlanta. Throughout her residency and internship programs, she received extensive training in post-operative and surgical co-management, dry eye disease, corneal disease, glaucoma, and diabetic ocular disease. She is a member of the Greater Atlanta Optometric Association and the Georgia Optometric Association.
Dr. Scavuzzo and her husband spend their weekends watching baseball and enjoying the outdoors with their two dogs.
